Android 5.0 Lollipop introduces a new design language which they refer to as Material Design. Google uses this design language for all their applications.
Through Lollipop Android 5.0, Google gives a new notification system known as the notification "heads up". With it, you will not be bothered anymore because you can do things like take a call or reply to a message directly from the notification banner.
Android 5.0 Lollipop using Android Runtime (ART) by default as their runtime system. The benefits of this new runtime system is more hurried performance. Google claims that the new system can run four times faster than their old system.
A feature called Factory Reset Protection can now be activated on Android 5.0 Lollipop. With it, when you want to do a factory reset on an Android smartphone, it will require a password previously set.
With the help of ART runtime system, now all applications on Android Lollipop can run in 64-bit architecture.
